OS Accounting is a Xero Partner, we are Xero Certified, Xero Migration Certified and Making Tax Digital Ready with Xero.
We have been using Xero since its early introduction to the UK in 2010, 2 years after its introduction to the UK market and when had less than 200,000 subscribers (compared to Sage who had 5+ million) worldwide.
Xero was the first mainstream online accounting product available, and had been built on modern web technologies, addressing all of the issues that users of other accounting products had been complaining about for years.
Bank feeds
Xero was built around cash, and has powerful connections to most major banks, building societies and credit card companies. You can link up with your bank and have your transactions automatically downloaded, daily, into your accounting system so when you have a spare 5 minutes you can login and match them up. Keeping your books up to date has never been easier.
Mobile Apps
It doesn’t matter what device you use, Xero works on almost anything. If you use an iPad, iPhone, Android, or Google Tablet then there are free apps available in the App Store that gives you access to your accounting records, invoices and contacts on the move.
Ready for an internet enabled world
If you are on any device with an up to date web browser, you can access Xero. You don’t need to upgrade your hardware, any computer that is internet capable can access Xero easily.
Addons
Xero links with over 260 other online services when you need to get data from one place to another, like paypal, eBay, shopify. this means you don’t need to import and export from one system to another, and when someone buys something on your website an invoice is automatically created, or stock is adjusted if you need it to be.
Better credit control with online invoicing
As well as being able to print your invoices and posting them, now you can email PDF’s of them – even from the mobile app, and also send them through an invoice portal which allows your customer to settle the invoice with credit or debit cards, or even set up a direct debit if you have recurring subscriptions. The convenience helps customers pay quickly, without the hassle of writing cheques or setting up bank payments (even though they still can if they want!).
Unlimited users and access control
Xero subscriptions are charged by company, rather than user so your costs stay constant even when you need more people to invoice or access data. Each user can have different access levels, which can limit down to essentials, or give full access.
Payroll built in
Xero’s payroll system is fully built in, and more affordable than ever. Fully compliant with Real Time Filing requirements, and linked to the Pensions Regulator and NEST to make sure you are compliant with the law. Reports are automatically delivered reducing the amount of deadlines to remember, and Employees can administrate their employment through the Xero portal allowing them to get payslips and request time off.
Automatic updates and Backups
Xero is always up to date, with minor upgrades done in the background, and major upgrades done outside of working hours. It is always backed up, usually your accounting data is copied, real time, onto servers in different locations to make sure that you aren’t caught short by a server failure.
The servers are industrial grade, with experts making sure your data is safe and secure. Updates are all completed by Xero engineers, no more download and install, hoping your data survives
OS Accounting are Xero Certified Partners, Xero Migration Experts and ready for Making tax digital. Subscriptions start from £10 per month, with most clients needing unlimited invoicing which starts from £22 per month exclusive of VAT.
